McCain Fundraising Email: Hamas Wants Obama
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Democrats, Israel, McCain, Republicans, Terrorism
Well, that didn’t take long…
This is what it says:
“Barack Obama’s foreign policy plans have even won him praise from Hamas leaders. Ahmed Yousef, chief political adviser to the Hamas Prime Minister said, ‘We like Mr. Obama and we hope he will win the election. He has a vision to change America.’”
Do note that Obama condemned Jimmy Carter’s visit with Hamas, but I guess McCain’s people think that somebody saying nice things about you warrants association. And the fact they’re trying to raise money off of this? Ugh.
Increasingly, the signs aren’t pointing to a nice general election. But then again, that was probably always a pipe dream anyway.

Sooooooo! Sen. McCain is afraid of Sen. Obama, isn’t he? True that Hillare, with her past, will be a much easier target to destry.

Let’s start talking about a real issue in the general election, McCain’s unsuitability for the presidency. His well documented out of control anger, complemented by rudeness, filthy language in public (even against his own wife), physical intimidation, arrogance and vindictiveness cannot be ignored. How do these serious character flaws impact his judgment? How can someone this unstable and small minded be a serious contender for the presidency?

Do you get it? Hamas (Palestinian terrorists), Rezko (a Syrian in court on corruption charges), Rev. Wright (anti-American black racist preacher), Louis Farrakhan (black racist activist) Ayres (activist who bombed Congress and Pentagon 40 years ago and who said just 7 years ago that he wasn’t sorry about it and thought they should have bombed more)…..These are all Obama’s friends, endorsers and supporters. How can you NOT be terrified by this less-than-one-term Senator from the south side of Chicago? McCain’s been in office and even though he’s short-tempered he’s effective and non-partisan in his legislative record. There is NO WAY this country is going for Barry/Barack Obama. WAKE UP!!!!

Happily, McCain’s fundraising effort is totally incompetent and pissing away its money. Every few days I get yet another solicitation mailing from McCain; this has gone on for months, based on their belief that I support the McCain presidential campaign. I do not. Years ago I gave a small amount when McCain was running against Bush. Now I mail back all their crap in their postage paid envelopes. Though I have written all kinds of curses on the materials, they keep coming. Glad they’re wasting their money…

I can hardly wait until they start dragging Cindy McCain through the mud.
There’s plenty of dung to be slung at his morale values and choices.
Mr. Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran is another idiot like GW excepts he’s older and has a temper to boot.

Justin,
A few questions:
I am on the McCain email list, so I recieve all those fundraising emails and I never saw this one. I did some checking on the website, but didn’t see anything there either (so far).
You might be correct that the campaign sent this, but I haven’t seen anything that says this is from McCain.
Sorry to be so picky;it’s the journalist in me.

[...] I guess this will be the theme this Fall. First, McCain’s team ties Hamas to Obama because they said they wouldn’t mind dealing with him (in a fundraising email no less) and [...]

It is perfectly legitimate and completely relevant to bring up the fact that an anti-American Islamic terrorist organization openly states that Barack Obama as President would give them the best chance to advance their extremist agenda.
