Barack Begets Boomer Backlash...

I cross-posted this at Donklephant. Karl at Protein Wisdom linked to it with some observations on generational politics in his post"Election 2008: Don?t try to d-dig what we all s-s-say"...

Rob, Dos,
How about if we extend the right to abortion on demand up to the 80th tri-mester?

If there was no constitutional way to reintroduce a draft AND the minimum age for enlistment was 30, then you could justify preventing the 18-29 crowd from voting.

Being that's not the case, you're shit outta luck Dos. The 26th amendment was ratified for good reason.

The problem with the US electorate is that the people in power obfuscate their intentions and their influences and the majority of voters both conservative and liberal are all but completely uninformed beyond parroting retarded memes like "The war is for oil" "Bush is evil" "Illegals are taking our jobs" and "God hates fags".

The problem is there's little if any accountability, less incentive to create it and too little public outcry to force it.

As opposed to all the middle aged women who "project their personal hopes and dreams onto HRC."

Hey Dos, would those be the same children that HRC sent to die in a war without bothering to read the NIE?

Someone please explain what is "new" about BHO's policies and how they fall outside the same old political matrix of this country. I would buy is Jesus 2.0 routine if his policies reflected something new and innovative, but they don't. It is the same old tired pantheon of big government policies.

Will someone please give me ONE approach/policy that is outside the fold of same old Martha's Vineyard liberal policies that have been around forever.

My problem with Obamacans is that the man could wrap up a dog turd in pretty words and they'd think it was nugget of gold. What new ideas does he bring??? None. What bipartisan efforts has he been engaged in??? Very few. I don't blame you for living the dream, but come on...the problem with the U.S. electorate is that children are allowed to vote.
