Bring Gas Prices Down For Good?
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Energy, Gas, Legislation, McCain, VideoThat’s one of the last lines of this commercial. Think that’s a bit of an overstatement given that Clinton and McCain are proposing that this is only a Gas Tax Holiday?
Watch it and judge for yourself…
Honestly, please explain to me how this proposed legislation will bring the gas prices down for the foreseeable future.

Yes, that’s the last line, but the next to the last line is “Hillary Clinton will make big oil invest in clean energy.” Obviously it sets up the sentence that follows it and is how she plans to drive gas prices down permanently (eventually, at least), not via the gas tax holiday, which she has acknowledged is not a long-term solution for anything.

to be fair to Hilary, she is really wrapping two issues in one commercial. First she talks about the gas tax, then quickly says that she will invest in clean energy to bring gas prices down for good.

“President Hilary Clinton brings Big Oil to its Knees”
Sending out the Presidential Order One from the Imperial White Castle, President for Life, Hilary Clinton, orders congress to force a new tax on the oil cartel to pay for alternative energy R&D and more billions to the Hilary Clinton Executive Library and Health Spa.
While milk is going at a auction price of +- $12.95.9 a gallon the price for the SUV crowd will be coming down to a very low $299.9 a gallon.
The White Castle sent out a press release exclaiming a WIN-WIN for the America that put her in the Castle.
Four Wheel Drive is mandatory for the roads of America now after two years of her presidency because of their condition and most bridges erected before 1990 are now failing at a rate of 1.3578 per week. They are still open for bicycles and mopeds.
A new “Blue Ribbon Committee” of congressional members appointed by Hilary are still studying the possibility of alternative energy and a way to turn recycled oil into low grade milk.
This release will be let out April 1, 2010
