Clinton would insure a November loss – not a victory. The Republicans were even motivated to come out and vote for her (7% of the vote) in Indiana just to insure the possibility she is the target. No one can motivate the Rep base like a Clinton. Clinton vs Obama was the Presidential race in 2008 – McCain is going to get crushed.

well, to be completely unbiased, someone could have said it was over after Texas and Ohio, but they would have been wrong given hindsight. Obama’s Wright problem and “bitter” gaffe happened after that and depending on how handled it could have sunk his ship. It didn’t, so now we can say it is over again, but even still something could stick and make the Dems switch to Clinton to ensure a November win

I have been saying it was over since WI ended. The nice thing about last night aside from the “whopping” is that the only thing Hillary can accomplish going forward is additional humiliation for the Billary team (and her money will dry up too). I think the two of them are addicted to humiliation.

In all honesty however, Obama hasn’t won on the numbers yet so she’ll stick around. She could form a 4th party with the “Billy Bob” and the old hole demographic – and Bob Barr will run with the Libertarians, and Ralph with the Greens, and the stuffed dead guy with the Rep’s – It’s going to be an interesting Fall.

I am very biased – the same way you are, our support for our candidates is pretty clear. But I said “bloggers” as in, the group as a whole. Let me say it again more slowly for you…

“Its. About. Time. Someone. From. The. MSM (mainstream media). Said. What. Nearly. Every. Unbiased. Blogger. Has. Known. For. Months.”

I’m not saying “I” am a unbiased blogger (or even an unbiased non-blogging party)- I’m not even a Poli Blogger, but others (not me) have been saying this for a VERY long time.

If you honestly thought there was a way for her to win after Ohio and Texas, you’re out of your mind. I’m sorry, it was over then. It wasn’t a bold prediction to say it then, and it isn’t now. Saying it was over then was the only logical decision to be made. She would’ve needed HUGE win in every remaining state – wins she hadn’t gotten in ANY state, much less all of the remaining ones.

Its been over for two months, and saying that isn’t biased. Its fact.

I’m sure Hillary’s people are now going to come up with the, “yeah, but Barack could DIE! We need to stay in this!”

Yeah, Except that any blogger who said it was over before tonight, was um… biased. It ended tonight, not before. It was a good biased prediction on your part though.

Tonight, Barack finally showed he could close the deal. Well done to the Obama campaign. The Clinton argument ended tonight, she lost the momentum, she lost the opportunity to get the popular vote, and she lost the nomination.
