At first I couldn't believe I was reading all of this right.
that we're hearing about this now is the natch. this is the knife fight that we all knew was coming between Penn, Ickes, and everyone else at
that strategy table(It was Ickes with a candlestick in the library)
my disbelief rests with Penn, and to a lesser extent the rest of the "war room". Penn couldn't survive in a room full of heavies, if he was an utter
incompetent, could he? Is it really true that that he is exactly like Karl Rove...except that he can't count out of double digits? It has to be some complicated ploy. My mind raced...possibly he thought that this election would come down to super-dels, even as early as California...they'd just pile up the populous states, and then point like the proverbial teachers favorite little snitch. But even that doesn't make any sense, that's not a strategy, it's a huge Vegas style gamble. And they tried it, and it got the coldest of receptions. It comes down to the fact that the room knew better, but no one in Hillary's Lincoln style cabinet of adversaries had the power to override Penn...And why waste the breath, they wanted to shiv him, and here was the knife. For Penn, I don't have an answer...it was late...he was tired.

Remember when one of Clinton's claims to leadership was her superb and exacting micro-management and her perfectionist streak?

Not so much.

If I've said it once I've said it a thousand times.."no one to blame but herself". I'll be the first to admit I can't stand the Clintons, but in some small way shouldn't every Dem be concerned that their incompetence was almost the Dem nominee for the Peresidency of the US. It scares me actually that such simpletons are in charge. If I approached my job the way they did theirs I would have been fired long ago - no questions asked.
