The Stimulus Explained

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in Comedy, Economy, Money, Ron Paul, Taxes

Although I agree with the stimulus, if for no other reason to start paying down people’s personal debt, I think this is pretty damn funny.

By the way, I think this represents Ron Paul’s official stance. :-)

The cartoon needs a few corrections.

First, it needs two more figures – one representing the Chinese government as a banker, and another a child representing the next generation of Americans.

Uncle Sam should be getting the $1 bill from the Chinese banker (who is funding our national debt by buying our bonds), and the Chinese banker is extracting the $5 from pockets of the next generation (who will be paying off the expansion of the national debt created by the stimulus nonsense).

    Kinda off-topic, but very funny!

“Ann Hart Coulter (born December 8, 1961) is an American conservative pundit, a syndicated columnist, a best-selling author, a frequent television and radio guest, a self-described “polemicist,” and a self-promoting dick. Best known for purveying hate, Coulter revels in the mass loathing she herself inspires, a delight so aberrational as to invite speculation that she may in fact be an alien life form. That, actually, would explain a lot.”

Uncle Sam needs to look like McCain, what with his proposed plans, 780 billion deficit in 2013

Personally, I would have liked it better if they had sent me a bag of shiny new nickels. Or maybe some string.

mw, it’s getting to the point where even China and the Saudis (our 2 best friends according to the republicans) won’t buy our worthless paper anymore. So now we’re just printing it up out of thin air. BTW, how stupid do we have to be to let the world’s largest communist dictatorship and the country that supplied 15 of the 19 9-11 terrorists own most of America? Thanks republicans, keep up the good work.

Stupid enough to allow Bush to serve two terms, and then even consider McCain who is actually worse in fiscal policy and foreign policy than Bush

    Yup, pretty amazing, isn’t it?

Not really, sad is the better word i’d use, this election cycle has proven to me one thing, for all our technological advancements, human nature is still the same as ever, people are still just as easily fooled as ever.

So true. I assume you are referring to the nomination of Jimmy Carter Barack Obama as the Democratic standard bearer. Some of the people… all of the time.
