MSNBC’s Spectra News Reader Is Impressive

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in Media, Technology

I just tried out MSNBC’s Spectra and I have to say that I’m pleasantly surprised.

The layout is intuitive, colorful and actually sort of fun to use. The above picture may not give you a sense of that because it’s a bit small, but trust me, it’s worth a try. I’ll definitely use it in the days and months to come.

Couple this with the best online, embeddable video offerings of any cable news channel, and you’ve got a media company who’s glad they partnered with Microsoft back in the day. :-)
