McClellan was the Press Secretary, and had virtually no say about how policy was formed, etc. Also, he did leave after it was obvious he had been lied to regarding the Plame affair. One last thing...do you think he's just making all of it up? Because even if money is the motivator for revealing this stuff, it doesn't make his claims any less true or disturbing. First, if things were that bad, what does it say about McClellan's character that he stuck around? And second, you aren't a whistleblower if you expose someone else when it's too late to do anything about it. Then you're just a backstabbing, money grubbing jerk.
