I really like Scweitzer – too bad he’s not from a bigger state.

He could really help with the West that is in play this time, and his ability to speak Arabic and his time in Saudi might be really appealing. I doubt, however, if he is in the list or very high up. He’s even pro-gun: that could help Obama even in the light south.

Granholm’s not eligible. She was born in Canada so she’s not eligible to be President. under the 12th Amendment you have to eligible for the Presidency to be VP.

She probably wouldn’t be a great pick even if she was eligible. Her popularity has dropped dramatically in the past few years. She was re-elected in 2006 mostly because the GOP candidate’s entire resume consisted of important jobs his Dad gave him.
