Jim Webb is NOT Irish Catholic, he is a Protestant descendant of Scots-Irish immigrants. There is a difference. The Scots-Irish largely arrived in America in the 17th and 18th Centuries, while the Irish started to arrive during the Potato Famine in the Mid 1800s.

That might be a reference to James Johnson, who is leaving the campaign, according to CNN, because of questions pertaining to a mortgage.

http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/06/11/obamas-vp-vetter-steps-aside/

Meanwhile, I have a bigger question (perhaps)...

When I went to the front page of Donklephant, I scrolled past the square banner ad towards the end of the top article, like I usually do. Something caught my eye about this, though: It's an ad from the McCain campaign, with a slogan that says "Join our team." Not join "my" team, but join "our" team.

The picture above the text is of McCain, standing next to Joe Lieberman. Lieberman has his arm around McCain's shoulders, and they laughing and smiling, all "buddy-buddy."

Coincidence?

[...] Now just yesterday he refused to answer questions about one of the people he chose (yes HE chose) to help him electing a VP. Well, who is the man that Obama doesn’t want to discuss? Does WEBB ring a bell? [...]
