Rasmussen: Obama Leads By 3

McCain - 45%
McCain gains one today and shrinks Obama’s lead to a statistically insignificant margin. And so far, while Gallup has shown a steady race, Rasmussen is showing a much more slow and steady gain by McCain. We’ll see where it ends up in a week’s time.

06/18/2008: McCain - 45%, Obama - 48%
06/17/2008: McCain - 44%, Obama - 48%
06/16/2008: McCain - 44%, Obama - 48%
06/15/2008: McCain - 43%, Obama - 49%
06/14/2008: McCain - 43%, Obama - 49%
Some additional info:
With leaners, McCain is supported by 85% of Republicans while Obama gets the vote from 79% of Democrats.Among those not affiliated with either major party, it’s Obama 46% McCain 41%.
On the question of who is a better leader and whose values are closest to your own, the two candidates are essentially even.
