Rasmussen: McCain Leads By 1 In Ohio

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Democrats, McCain, Ohio, Polls, Republicans

McCain - 44%
Obama - 43%
3rd Party - 7%
Undeci’ds - 7%

Some demo info…

  • McCain leads 45 to 42 among men, but he’s tied with Obama 43 to 43 among women.
  • 79% of Republicans support McCain, while 73% of Democrats support Obama.
  • McCain viewed more favorably among moderates by 44 to 38.

Yesterday I reported that Quinnipiac polling found Obama with a 6 point lead in Ohio, so what we’re looking at is that the state is once again completely up for grabs. And with Obama possibly waffling on NAFTA, McCain could take advantage…although I doubt he could pander to the level Hillary did.

More as it develops…
