Rasmussen: Obama Leads By 4

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Democrats, Independents, McCain, Polls, Republicans

Obama – 49%
McCain – 45%

Absolutely no movement today. Of note, these numbers include “leaners”, and without them Obama leads by 5.

The 5 day:
06/26/2008: McCain – 45%, Obama – 49%
06/25/2008: McCain – 45%, Obama – 49%
06/24/2008: McCain – 44%, Obama – 49%
06/23/2008: McCain – 43%, Obama – 49%
06/22/2008: McCain – 42%, Obama – 49%

Here’s more on the numbers with and without “leaners”…

Rasmussen Reports polling shows the race has remained very stable for several weeks. Without leaners, Obama’s support has stayed between 45% and 47% for fifteen straight days. With leaners, he has stayed between 48% and 50% for twenty-one straight days.

As for McCain, his support has been at 40% or 41% on nineteen of the last twenty-two days. Twice, he inched up a point above that range and once he slipped a point below. With leaners, McCain’s support has stayed between 42% and 45% every day since Obama clinched the Democratic Presidential Nomination.

More tomorrow…
