Can't argue with any of that Jeremy, BUT just maybe the McCain Campaign has finally had the wake-up call required to at least turn this pathetic performance into something approaching competitive. With the economy slipping deeper into a longer term tank, this country could be in serious jeopardy with the liberal tax policies of an Obama landslide and a filibuster proof Democratic Congress.

"Folks, this just may work. Obama and company better pay attention because they could be facing a new candidate soon."

And this is why politics sicken most Americans. It's not about who McCain actually IS, or what he actually DOES. It's about what he comes across as, not as he really is.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The average voter doesn't know what he's voting for or why he's voting. Albeit, he surely THINKS he must know because the "news" tells him he has learned the pertinent information that he will need in making an informed decision. But in reality he has very little knowledge of the realities propelling our country, the world or his car. We are dealing with a massively ignorant/isolated public that parrots commercial-corporate news and then regurgitates this as is to sound informed or in the know.

Like usual, we will get the campaign promises the honeymoon mock–up of all the "great" changes on the horizon. Then reality will set in. The corporate behind-the-scenes wrangling will take place and the American people will yet again get the latest installment of bullshit lies spoon fed to us on our televisions. And yet again, Americans will be "too busy" trying to obtain the American dream that they won't have the time to inform, educate and wake themselves up from their seemingly endless hiatus from reality. The good ol' "But I'm too busy for politics" excuse.
