Kudos to Greg. Clearly, efforts like Morteson's will do more to advance America's image than any amount of military aid. However, as far as I know, Greg Mortenson is not President of the United States, has never been President of the United States, and is not running for President of the United States. As such, I am having trouble understanding what this has to do with the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet agreeing to meet unconditionally with the religious extremist, intolerant, anti-semitic, homophobic leadership of a terrorist state without first using the carrot of that meeting to leverage diplomatic concessions.
