Rasmussen: Obama Up By 5, 5

With leaners
Obama - 49%
McCain - 44%

Without leaners
Obama - 46%
McCain - 41%

We may finally be seeing a bump for Obama’s overseas trip, as Gallup is showing a similar trend today as well.

Some details…

This is the first time that Obama has enjoyed a five point advantage since July 8. It’s also the first time he has reached the 49% level of support since that date. In June, Obama’s support stayed within a point of the 49% level virtually every day and the Democrat typically led by about five percentage points.

07/24/2008: McCain - 44%, Obama - 49%
07/24/2008: McCain - 45%, Obama - 48%
07/23/2008: McCain - 45%, Obama - 47%
07/22/2008: McCain - 46%, Obama - 46%
07/21/2008: McCain - 46%, Obama - 47%
07/20/2008: McCain - 45%, Obama - 47%

The 5 day w/o leaners:
07/25/2008: McCain - 41%, Obama - 46%
07/24/2008: McCain - 41%, Obama - 45%
07/23/2008: McCain - 42%, Obama - 45%
07/22/2008: McCain - 42%, Obama - 43%
07/21/2008: McCain - 41%, Obama - 42%
