For some reason, I get the impression that John Edwards desperately wants a son that he feels is “in his image.”

He had his wife take drugs to get pregnant so he could have another boy after his only son got killed in a car wreck, and it took two tries. First she had a girl…and THEN a boy, who doesn’t look, at this stage anyway, like he’s interested in hunting or football.

Then his Missus got cancer from the hormones she took to give him the son in the first place.

If this kid by Raelle is a girl…well, I’ll be surprised, is all.

McCain’s first wife donates to his campaigns. Clearly she is filled with anger and resentment about the past.

Beyond the despicable act of routinely cheating on his dying wife for at least a year, the selfishness and stupidity he exercised is baffling; did he REALLY think he could keep a child quiet once he got the nomination?

Why not? So far he’s had almost every single news outlet running interference for him. If it weren’t for the blogs, this wouldn’t be getting any traction. But of course, his cluelessness about the Internet was revealed by his choice of campaign bloggers last year, so there’s no reason to think he’s gotten more savvy since then.

Democrats shouldn’t go too far out of their way to defend Edwards if these allegations prove true; he certainly hasn’t gone out of his way for his country, his wife, or them.
