Two Men Inspire Millions with Final Words

There is a saying that the great ones are able to demonstrate grace in the most adverse of circumstances. And when it comes to adversity, nothing exceeds the challenges of facing one’s final days on earth with dignity.

Two of the most noteworthy men to do so over the past 15 years managed to inspire millions with one memorable final message. One, Randy Pausch, recently was able to do for academics what the other, Jim Valvano, was able to do for athletics.
