Cheney Will Attend Convention

By Alan Stewart Carl | Related entries in Cheney, Republicans

Updating a story from earlier this week, Republicans now confirm that Vice President Dick Cheney will attend the Republican Convention and will speak.

Previously, reports indicated Cheney might skip the convention because his presence could prove a distraction. I guess Republicans decided there was no way to hide the fact that John McCain is and the unpopular vice president are members of the same party.

Still, don’t expect Cheney to have the best of speaking slots.
