And, it looks like the Georgian conflict is having an effect on voters perceptions on what the most important issue of the campaign is…
Forty percent (40%) of voters now rate the economy as the top issue of Election 2008, down from 44% a week ago. National security concerns are the top priority for 25%, up four points over the last week. It remains to be seen whether this is a temporary blip or the beginning of a lasting change in the race.Four years ago, the priorities were reversed with 41% naming National Security issues as most important while 26% named economic issues.
