I think you hit the nail on the head though - the comparison of Obama to Carter and the similarity of campaign themes is just too easy. It is a comparison that Obama would like to avoid.

I think you hit the nail on the head though – the comparison of Obama to Carter and the similarity of campaign themes is just too easy. It is a comparison that Obama would like to avoid.
