Democrats really dont like the policies of the GOP. Most really do not like George Bush. 80% of people feel that the country is on the wrong track. Instead of standing up to the people dems dislike, they capitulate. Every time the base asks the leadership to grab a spine they act like jello. It is a very simple thing to sort this out.
