Agreed, the Obama campaign probably shouldn’t hit Palin on her inexperience directly, but hammer McCain for hypocrisy regarding his criticism of Obama’s lack of experience only to choose a vice president with even less. It certainly doesn’t mesh with his “straight shooter” image.

I initally thought the same thing, Justin. But given Obama’s political background, the Dems would be making a risky move calling her out due to a lack of experience. They’ve already drawn a line in the sand that experience doesn’t matter, so McCain had some leeway in picking someone like Palin or Jindal.

Slight correction: Younger yes. Less overall political experience yes. But more executive experience than Obama (Governor vs. Senate).
