Sorry to break it to you, but while everyone is trying to decide between Obama and McCain, everything is moving full steam ahead for the power that be in this world. Obama on the CFR and Israeli lobbyists who run our foreign policy? Not any different from Mr. Bush. All the change he's bringing? Did he ever say how besides raising taxes?(that are supposed to lead in a 5 percent income raise after taxes for mid class, McCains plan 3 percent...wow, pay more taxes and wait for extra money to come in) Bring the troops home, but presence stays in Iraq. Wake up people, just b/c a Black man has a chance to win president while talking about "A Change Gone Come" doesn't mean things are gonna get better for anybody thats not rich enough. Under Bill Clinton, all we did was think everything was good. Democrats just hide it better.

Well, looks like these two were completely wrong about Palin. Hard to believe that two such smart connected Washington beltway insiders and Bush apologists could ever be so wrong abut anything.

Just read it---you know that noise they use in Scooby-Do cartoons when the monster appears and Shaggy and Scooby start running but don't go anywhere?

Yeah, that noise.

Back peddling, Ms Noonan.

Justin, I hope you know I love you like a misunderstood brother. I just watched her speech and I'll take that cynical gimmick all day long. I could be wrong, but I think your Chic-town community organizer (talk about a cynical gimmick) is going to get his ass handed to him by this gal.

HA, for one tired of the vapid commentary from the talking heads it is refreshing to hear some real opinions! (irregardless of whether they are worthy or unworthy)

Two things, are these commentators uniquely qualified to tell us something that our neighbors, friends or fellow bloggers can't? (I am deeply suspicious of "strategists" and "analysts") Second, even if you decide they are worthy of your time, you will only find out what they really think when their mics are off!

HA, for one personally tired of the vapid discussion among the talking heads it is refreshing to hear some real opinions! (as worthy or worthless as they may be)

Two things, why do we listen to political commentators if they are not uniquely qualified to tell us something our neighbor or friends or blogosphere commentators can't tell us? Second, even if you determine they are worthy of your time, you'll only get the real scoop when they think their mics are off!

It's just like all your right wing commenters here. They say all these things in support of Palin on here and everywhere else, but deep down, when they are alone with their thoughts, they are saying to themselves "what the hell is McCain doing".

Pathetic really, when your party is out of ideas and so against the mainstream that you are forced to support a gimmick just for the sake of winning. Party before country.
