Rasmussen: McCain Up 3, 3

Obama - 46%
McCain - 49%
Without leaners
Obama - 45%
McCain - 48%
Looks like McCain may have received another bounce, as we have 3 and 5 points swings in the numbers.
Rasmussen shares how irregular this is…
It is unusual to find a three-point jump in one day on the tracking poll. Daily tracking results are collected via nightly telephone surveys and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. Today’s gain for McCain comes partly from a good night of polling last night and partly from the fact that a good night for Obama on Monday is no longer part of the sample.
So very good news for McCain today, but one has to wonder what will be the fallout from the lipstick controversy. Were voters paying attention and what will they think as a result?

Hey Justin — Are we going to get a post regarding Biden telling Chuck Graham, a Missouri state senator to “stand up”? One little problem, Chuck Graham is confined to a wheelchair! Nice Biden & we are suppose to have confidence in your abilities with regards to foreign nations? (Bidens answer for starvation in Africa: They should eat more.)

The difference, though, is that Chuck Graham and those who support him didn’t fly into a rage and pout for the next week because someone said something that could be construed as a dig by paranoid folks looking for a reason to have a fit.
