Gallup: McCain Up By 1

The details…

It is unclear to what extent this week’s headline news about the collapse of Wall Street financial institutions and changes in the stock market will affect the race. Obama has generally held the advantage when Americans are asked which candidate would better deal with the economy, though McCain was able to close the gap after the Republican convention.

Monday night’s interviewing did show Obama doing better than he has been in recent updates, but it will take several days to see if he can sustain an improved position.

Yeah. This is exactly what I predicted. We are back within the margin of error at the same level as before both VP picks, both conventions, and all acceptance speeches. Dead Heat.

I now think this will come down to all the new Dems being registered by Obama’s superior ground game, vs. the last minute undecideds breaking 70% for McCain like they did in primaries for Clinton.

People all over the world wish they could vote in this election - the new American president won’t just affect U.S. citizens after all. The world awaits the outcome of this historical election, and in the meantime, people are making their preferences known at: http://www.myvirtualvote.com
