Sure, Palin could certainly prefer to stay out of the public eye. She's entirely entitled to that <b>as a private citizen</b>. It isn't *just* about what Palin wants. It ceases being so when she decides to run for public office. If you don't want to be subjected to public scrutiny, don't run for public office.
