His success has come from not being distracted by Palin since he learned his lesson early on. I'll predict that advertising the results of this investigation in some swing states would be helpful to push some voters his way. In any event, McCain should replace Palin (she should step down) and then he should stop the Ayers smear. Its still a month and we could still have a race. My prediction is more missteps by McCain and steadiness from Obama might result in the 20% spread required to put a Democrat in the White House.
