Palin To Sit Down With Brian Williams
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Media, Palin
Politico shares that it’ll air on Oct 22nd and Oct 23rd.
It’ll be good to see her doing some more interviews…but when will she go on the Sunday newsers? Isn’t this pretty much a standard thing for VP selects?
Maybe I’m missing something…

Justin, you’re missing that putting Palin on these Sunday talk shows is tantamount to complete campaign suicide for the McCain camp — though, they already did that when they selected Palin.
Or maybe the McCain camp asked her which one she would like to go on, but she couldn’t name any of those Sunday morning shows either.

They don’t have confidence in Sarah “I can see Russia from my house so I have foreign policy credentials” Palin..simple as that. She can’t do anything but parrot rehearsed answers..now THAT will be very useful in communicating with other countries leaders and all! haha. Maybe they will replace her with Joe the Plumber? He has as much credentials as she does.

If she goes on too many shows, she could (would?) make a mistake which would reinforce the negative image that has emerged. Personally I think she is doing this to work toward a 2012 run. I know many people think that the idea of President Palin is totally nutty, but you don’t pull in 10K people a day to your rallies if nobody like you. Personally I don’t think she would win, but I do think she is going to try. With a Brian Williams interview she can now say, “I did interviews will all the major networks so I wasn’t trying to duck anyone.”
