		<description>Doug, I see you&#039;re in the TR-was-a-reckless-fool camp. I&#039;m not big on his post-presidency when his personal animosity towards Taft led him to take some less-than-brilliant positions, but I think his presidency was very forward-thinking for its time and while I see how you could claim he wanted to put the nation before the individual, I&#039;ve always thought of him as a failry rugged individualist. He certainly didn&#039;t think Americans needed to be coddled or talked down too like so many of our current leaders believe.</description>
