Rasmussen: Obama Up By 5

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, McCain, Polls

Obama – 51%
McCain – 46%

McCain gains one as we’re just a week away from the biggest game in town.

Rasmussen talks battlegrounds and electoral projections…

Battleground state polls released yesterday showed Obama leading in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, and Virginia. With these latest results, Rasmussen Reports has moved Florida from “Toss-Up” to “Leans Democratic.”

In Missouri and North Carolina, the race remains a toss-up while McCain leads by five in his home state of Arizona.

Rasmussen Reports Electoral College projections now show Obama leading 260-163. When “leaners” are included, Obama leads 313-174.

The movement in Florida is big. This is yet another state that if Obama wins, it’s all over.

What’s more, all of the states listed are winnable…except Arizona. I just can’t buy that they’d turn against McCain.

The 5 day:
10/28/2008: McCain – 46%, Obama – 51%
10/27/2008: McCain – 45%, Obama – 51%
10/26/2008: McCain – 44%, Obama – 52%
10/25/2008: McCain – 44%, Obama – 52%
10/24/2008: McCain – 45%, Obama – 52%

More tomorrow…
