Hagan Wins North Carolina, Another Senate Gain for Dems

Democrat Kay Hagan has defeated Elizabeth Dole in North Carolina and gives the Democrats another pick-up in the Senate.

Many are saying Dole’s last-minute ad accusing Hagan godless backfired because Hagan is actually an elder in her church and Dole ended up looking petty and mean. I think with the changing demographics in North Carolina and Dole’s poor performance as a Senator, Hagan was going to win anyway.
