Newsweek: Obama A Difficult Person To Know

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, History, Video

More video from the folks who had full access behind the scenes. And I think I’m just going to post all of these because they’re really great little glimpses into the 2008 election.

While, I think it’s true that all Presidents have to make sure the American people see their humanity, with two beautiful young daughters and a genuinely intelligent and witty wife, I think Obama gets a pass on having to be too effusive.

Let’s remember, George W. Bush was full of goofy little one liners and “straight” talk, but people ultimately ended up really resenting him.

In other words, the era of “I’d like to have a beer with that guy” could be over.

We shall see.

i hope so.. i want intelligent leaders, not “folksy” morons.

As for the video about Obama’s personality. None of the qualities stated sounded bad to me. He sounds like a person who is willing to listen to others, puts a lot of thought into things, and is very confident (but not arrogant) in his ability to make the right descision.

We in Australia know Barack Husein Obama.
We want him to be the first Executive President of the UNITED STATES OF AUSTRALIA.
    LIFE IS GREAT!
