Inauguration To Be Biggest Ever?
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Bush
Like many other records broken by Obama this year, it appears as if the crowd at his inauguration will set a high water mark too.
“People who haven’t called me in months, years, are suddenly calling and saying, ‘Hey, I was just thinking about you,’ ” said Eric Tyson, 29, a pharmaceutical salesman who lives in Anacostia. “And then, as the conversation continues, they say they might be up for the inauguration and then they ask how many people are staying at my house.” [...]In Mitchellville, Elease Houston’s nephew called from Atlanta. In Georgetown, Kyle Gibson received an e-mail from a buddy looking for a bunk. And in Northwest Washington, Astrid Trinh fielded calls from loved ones in four different European countries.
“My house has turned into a bed-and-breakfast for the inauguration,” said Trinh, 46, an administrative legal assistant at a Virginia law firm. “I’ve got people coming from Belgium, France, Switzerland and Spain. I think there will be about 15. . . . I told people they could come and I’ll figure out the beds later.”
And Time’s Karen Tumulty has some sage advice for those who plan to attend…
Just a reminder, if you are headed our way: Dress warmly. The national mall can be pretty cold in January.
Indeed…
By the way, if you are going and you want a ticket be on the lookout for fraud.

Well, this didn’t take long: Dissent is the greatest form of treason in the new world of ObamaNation. Check it out here.

I think Obama would be well served by a modest innauguration. We’ll see.

Jimmy, first off…what does this have to do with the inauguration? Please don’t post links to loosely related content just so you can push your memes.
Second, you’d have a lot more credibility talking about first amendment rights if you had been singing a different tune the past few years.
Third, how is Obama responsible for this? And who said anything about treason?
Listen, your constant partisanship is tiring, as is the link to the YTMND in EVERY SINGLE POST. Yes, we get that you think Iran is like Nazi Germany. But that’s not your home page. Please get a new schtick.
