Palin Speaks At The RGA Conference
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2012 Election, Palin, VideoOne of the first things she does is commend Bush on his decision to go to war in Iraq. Not the smartest move right out of the gate.
She’s talking a good game about being the party of ideas, but does she really think that 2012 is realistic for her? Because what ideas will the GOP come up with between now and then? It seems like the Dems have filled the vacuum with green tech and universal health care.
What do you think?

She is correct, we have a responsibility to the world to defend the weakest among us. Because we are the strongest and the most wealthiest People on Earth. When we as a Nation are brought to our knee’s then all the World will have to defend themselves. China and Russia and Iran are poised for this moment and our New Administration is talking about cutting Defense spending. I am sorry to be a bearer of bad news but this is what our future holds. We need leadership, strength & wisdom. God help us.

Someone on MSNBC was talking about how poorly losing VPs have fared in becoming the parties standard bearer.
Here is the list of past losing VP candidates
Edwards
Lieberman
Kemp
Quayle
Bernstein
Ferarro
Mondale (did become party Pres candidate but beat in landslide)
Dole (lost)
Shriver (only claim to fame is last Democratic pro life presidential candidate)
The list shows the odds are not in her favor and I am thankful for that.

I think this blog should limit itself to one Palin article per day. She does not warrant the amount of press coverage she is getting, either here, or in the mainstream media.

@RPC
Look, you are dealing with an advanced case of SPDS here. There is nothing to be done but let the illness run it’s course.

@mw
Accusing your fellow bloggers of having any type of “derangement syndrome” is pointless and adds nothing to the conversation.
Also, given how that terminology is usually reserved for folks who go WAY off the deep end, I think it’s not only out of place regarding the content of this post, but also on this blog in general.
@RPC
Whether you like it or not, Palin is a phenomenon and she’s not out of the spotlight yet. Give it a couple weeks. I’m sure she’ll disappear and you won’t have to hear about her every day. But I’m not going to limit my posts about her when she’s doing a media blitz and there’s a lot of content to cover. Sorry.

Chill. 5 of 15 posts with 9 video clips over two days… I rest my case. But then I have my own obsessions, so there you go. FWIW, Andrew Sullivan has it even worse – you are in good company.
