This is hardly predictive. Republicans will probably do better in 2010 than this year considering they won't have Bush in office dragging them down and opposition parties generally pick up seats in off year elections. The negativism of McCain's 2008 campaign might also be forgotten. While McCain can certainly win despite trailing Napolitano in the poll, this certainly would be motivation for McCain to get her out of the governor's office.
