I don’t know about you, but this lineup seems like a great team. So many talented people, with Obama at the center making the final decision.

Consider me genuinely hopeful.

This is immediate improvement - intelligent decision-making! Obama is making good on his claim from the start, and he hasn’t even been inaugurated, yet.

Rachel Maddow questions Obama’s choice of former Clinton appointees, but what I see is that he’s finding the experts on handling the economic crisis, no matter where they come from. In my opinion, that’s smart - financial strength was a mark of the Clinton admin. And a TOTAL change from the past eight years.

While the economy did fine during the Clinton administration, no one had to deal with it in a true crisis mode. So the experience they bring is encouraging, although the situation they will find themselves in is markedly different. I suspect that the old-school Clinton roster may not have the mindset to bring the sweeping changes that Obama has promised the faithful, though.
