Obama’s Economic Advisory Press Conference

By the way, do people see Obama as President now given how many press conferences he’s doing and how ineffectual Bush has been?
Again color me impressed. The guy is thorough, but not long winded and he actually listens to questions and answers them like a normal human being.
Definitely not politics as usual, but I’m sure many would disagree with that.
So have at it…

Agreed. The rollout and the choices for economic advisers and cabinet positions this week was pitch perfect. No snark. Well done. I think he injected a measure of confidence into the market.
I still think his plan for $1 Trillion of new spending on top of our existing debt is batshit insane. But it pales in comparison to the even more insane spending and irresponsible commitment of the US treasury engineered by Paulson/Bernanke/Geithner this week. I guess once you are through the looking glass, even the most hallucinogenic apparitions start to look normal.
