Their words about Blago the last week and last year tell the story, but you and Fineman won't listen. You report the Blago episode as if he is some alien creature that dropped down into Chicago last month. No, he had the Congress seat before Rohm and he was twice elected as governor as Democrat from the one party (Democrat caretaken by Daley) town that Rohm, Axelrod and Obama wheeled and dealt. They all supported him until a week ago. They are all Democrats in a machine run town, and it is quite dishonest to let them throw the guy who got taped under the bus as if he is some aberration from their world. It was more foolish for the mainstream press to ever think that Blago would just resign at the call from the One. No one in the Press ever psycho babbled that Blago might just have tons of dirt to prove his innocence and/ or complicity of others all over town.
