I actually think Republican economic ideas are appealing to alot of people. If the massive "stimulus" and/or money supply inflation Obama may institute in the next few years does not work, the people will hunger for an alternative, and if the Republicans offer an alternative people may feel they have to go for it. If you vote for a Republican, any Republican no matter how "moderate", you only give power to Mitch McConnell. Virtually every one of the moderates in the party have caved to arm twisting by their party leadership.
