Sean Hannity - $100 MIll, 5 year contract just for radio. Limpdick - $400 Mill, 8 year contract - and the list goes on and on and on. I actually got tired of the research. These "clowns" in the media that bash O'Bama, bi-partisanship, and Democratic leadership;in a vain attempt to defend bankrupt conservative policies - do so solely because they are paid a lot of money. When was the last time you heard any of these media blowhards present any program that actually helps the American people? The only thing they have consistently accomplished is re-direction and obfuscation on a very narrow - and often incorrect - interpretation of the facts. These people are about as anti-American as any group I can think of - but they are never called to the carpet and use the anti-American angle to attack their detractors. When a multi-millionaire asks for tax cuts and slams programs that could help benefit millions of Americans - why would anyone with an ounce of intelligence listen?

I think Bi Partisanship is when one party is willing to drop their values and things they should hold dear in order to move past an issue. Note the confirmation of Timothy Geithner, a confirmed tax cheat. I make this assertion be4cause I feel that after he signed the documentation from the IMF not once, not twice, but several years in a row indicating that he understood the EXTRA money that he was receiving was meant to cover his self employment taxes...well, after he signed the form, he knew what he was doing.

But alas, several people who should be willing to stand up and shout form the rafters that out of a country of 350 million of us, surely to God there is one other person qualified for the job, but they did not and they threw away their values and voted to confirm him.

So bi-partisanship is alive and well in Washington. As long as one member of Congress is willing to sell his soul and vote for something he does not believe in...we will always have bi partisanship.

By the way, as a self employed person and speaking on behalf of all of us, we heard the message loud and clear. Cheating on your taxes is not a big deal if you are supposedly good at your job and have the funds to pay the shortage once caught, you might even qualify for a government job!

we have not even discussed the fact that I am not sure Geithner is the best guy for the job considering his performance at the new York Fed and their oversight as Wall street came tumbling down. Anyone seen Rubin lately as he parachuted form Citicorp after they imploded? Much like Einstein said when he define insanity. We are all insane these days I guess.

Stepping off my soapbox now. Oh wait...when will one of you bloggers write about Daschle andhis failure to pay taxes? Limousine liberals....it is so easy to reach into our pockets and spread the wealth when you don't pay your own damned taxes. Didn't Biden claim it was patriotic to pay your taxes? Then why is Obama hiring all these unpatriotic fellows for Cabinet positions?

Ok, now the soap box is clear.
