He did it for two years while he was young, felt a lot of pressure, and lots of people were doing it. Doing it was stupid, he knows it, and he's sorry. And his performance since then shows he doesn't need 'roids. You know, who really gives a crap that Phelps smoked pot? So what. I could not help but notice the giant cultural hypocrisy the other day when I flipped from the Phelps bong story to cable news coverage of a "wine expert" at a wine explo explaining what a great deal some $22 bottle of wine was. Just think what a gigantic boost to our economy it would be if comparatively undangerous pot was legalized. It would be taxed for plus revenue, there'd be expos and connoisseurs contributing to the economy and creating jobs, and there'd be substantial savings in reduced court and prison costs.
