Hey, the marketplace has spoken. If people thought they got the best, unbiased reporting from newspapers, they wouldn’t be dying off.

It’s not too late; they can still take off their propaganda helmets, but that a decision they have to make.

  2. Erik Sickinger Says:

    SD3, you’re wrong.
In some instances, circulation is actually up.
Its the poor business model which didn’t adjust once the intarweb came around

    But no, no.
    Its the “propaganda helmets”.

    Fantasy world?

Thanks for leaving fox news long enough to spill a little of the “truth” our way.

Sure, Eric. The problem is that they’re going out of business because they’re selling too many newspapers.

The stock market was ‘up’ yesterday, too, so the crisis is averted, right?

  4. Erik Sickinger Says:

    Its Erik, not Eric.

And you’re ignoring the reality. Its not sales of papers causing papers to shut down.
Its ad revenue. Internet in general, craigslist, and in a lot of smaller papers its the car dealerships who no longer are putting as many ads in due to lack of sales of their products.
