Mattie you got it right. Whenever I am in the book store or seeing a movie trailer, if I see the words "this years...", "in the spirit of...", or "If you liked ... then you'll love..." I know it wont be as good as what it's being compared to.

Republicans tried to say oh look we have a black leader too rather than seeing Obama won the election for many other reasons than the fact that he is a black man.

Lets put a Black guy in charge because "Hey, the Dem's did it, now we want one too!" without any thought to wither or not he was qualified.

Congratulations!

There's a school of thought on leadership which suggests that one of the most crucial parts of leadership is that when you see a parade, you grab a baton and run to the front.

The GOP has a component of angry base that reluctantly semi-supported a candidate it thought was a poor choice, and he got his clock cleaned. These folks are determined to take a purifying jaunt in the wilderness to cleanse the party of the corrrupting influence of moderates.

Steele has no answer for this. Likely, it simply must be let to run its course.

<strike>..he was trying to move Republicans in a much needed moderate direction

Because McCain was an extremist? And Bush, with his abominable deficit-spending & prescription medicaid bills, was too right wing?

What does the 'center' even mean to you, Justin? Conservatives line up to fellate you?</strike>
