		<description>Some guy on NPR this weekend made the point that a VERY high portion of the Twitter volume on Iran was retweeting by folks outside Iran, trying to find out what was going on. In other words, more chitter-chatter and sharing than actual reporting.

I don&#039;t disagree with the idea that social networking tools are playing an interesting role in these and other instances. But they are just tools, and the enemies of progress can abuse them just as quickly as the earnest adopt them.

The revolution will be twittered? The revolution will be oversold and overrated.</description>
