While this latest reversal will get some play (and may a bit with some of the new documentation that's going to be reviewed), it's going to fall squarely in the category of political theater. I think we can all agree that it's more important right now to see who shows up for that funeral than who sits on our high court. Seriously though, the GOP can't stop this nomination. They can't. They have no shot. The best they can do is look serious, fair, and principled during coverage of her inevitable confirmation. So any serious sniping will be left to armchair qbs like Rush and Newt and opportunists looking to be the rightmost viable 2012 candidate. Plus, Michael Jackson died.
