Palin Spins Resignation Via Twitter…Badly

Well, I think we all figured it would happen, but I didn’t think it would be this incoherent.
Yes, politicians are interested in winning and sometimes they can’t deliver on their entire agendas. I’m sure Palin hasn’t fulfilled 100% of her promises in her career. What’s new?
But to the broader point about what Palin calls “Professional Politicians” …let’s take a quick look at Palin’s 17 year political career and all the titles she has had.
Hmm…seems like Sarah Palin has been pretty interested in titles and moving up the ladder for the better part of the past two decades. Not only that, she has run up against term limits too. So she held certain titles for as long as she could.
Basically, if she’s not a “Professional Politician,” well, I’m not a blogger.
Not only that, and this is to the broader point she’s making…does she genuinely not understand that the more powerful the office and the longer you’re able to hold it, the more chances you have to actually get things done?

What?!? You mean that they don’t take office and sometime in the first year or two develop the ability to just snap their fingers and get everything done? No wonder Sarah’s so disappointed.

Are there other tweets that this one? Don’t see how this spins her resignation. Reads more like a comment about politicians more interested in accumulating and maintaining power than they are accomplishing something for the electorate.

I’m not a Palin fan, but I fail to see a problem with this tweet. I think it hits the nail on the head (even if it is hypocritical).
