Some may vote against her for political reasons, but there was never a chance they could kill her nomination without a helluva lot more substantive dirt than was apparent. She's a touch to the left of the average Dem-appointed Federal judge but not grossly so, and given who's she's replacing, the balance of the court does not shift an inch.
