Lou Dobbs Joins The Birthers Movement?
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in Barack, Obama, VideoI’m a little late to this game, but wow…just wow…
This is how it starts. “Why won’t Obama….?” and then it’s a slow, steady decline.
So many sites have debunked this claim, and then there’s the clipping from the newspaper in Honolulu the day after he was born…

Yeah, his parents were planning Obama’s Presidential run from birth.
I have officially lost all respect for Dobbs.

Well this is going to anger some people what I’m about to say but this birther movement looking boarder line racist because nobody didn’t ask George W. Bush or Bill Clinton. And nobody question from the national media didn’t question John McCain when he ran for President.

What is so hilarious about Dobbs is that fact that Kitty Pilgrim, while filling in for Dobbs on his own show just 3 days earlier, debunked the whole story. I used to be a fan of Dobbs, but during the election, it became quite apparent that Dobbs was anti-Obama. This is just another cog in his wheel. A quote my grandmother used to say to us all the time applies here to Dobbs et al: It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Odd as it may seem to Birthers, the original certifications of birth are not Obama’s to produce. Even as President. They belong the the Vital Records agency of the state of Hawaii.
I can not produce my original birth certificate either, and for the same reason. I can produce a certified photostat of it, but only because the state I was born in provides certified photostats of the originals rather than the “short form” that Hawaii (and many other states) provides. Such a certified short-form record BTW is considered 100% acceptable by the US government for establishing citizenship. (Don’t believe me, Birthers? Check US passport applications procedures for required documentation.)
I’ve never paid much attention to Lou Dobbs, but while trying to figure out just when he went off the rails I never was able to figure out when he was ever on them. But hey, he gets good ratings for CNN!

I used to like Dobbs but he has shifted from the radical middle to just being your typical right-wing talk host.

Even if there were something to the Birthers’ claim, the right time to have made it was before or during last year’s primaries, when acting on it would not have required the removal of a sitting President. Where was Dobbs back then?

Lou Dobbs and Alan Keyes are both idoits. I cannot believe that. All they have to dois ask the stare of Hawwaii. These are white racist again trying to discredit Obama. Last it was his pants(jeans) this week it is something he said. These are all old whitee racist tricks to get the president off point. Obama is a brilliant man, in fact the smartest President we ever had and that is the problem. Thse are some sick people. Alan Keyes is a deer in the rifle club who ahs always hated Obama and will do anything to hurt him. He said from the start that Obama is not his president. Obama beat his a…s in the senatorial race . Now here he is again.

Pres. Obama owes nothing to a extremely small minority of losing racists lunatic fringe. The fact that some expect him to go beyond and supply documents that were not asked of previous WHITE PRESIDENTS, is what makes this a racist conspiracy theory! I say record some of these fools and take down their sound bites and use it in the 2012 election campaigns and make the Republicans and racist fools have to defend themselves at a time when these acts of stupidity will really benefit Obama. I love watching repub/conservatives squirm when approached by the lunatics in their party over this matter, this is almost as funny/sad as when McCain had to defend Obama in front of TV cameras as part of his town hall style of campaigning, notice how he never held another town hall style rally until the election, now that was timeless, SNL also believed it was funny!
