Rasmussen: Obama & Romney Tied At 45%?

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in Barack, Obama, Palin, Polls, Romney

Honestly, I’ve been less and less inclined to believe Rasmussen’s number over the past few months since they’ve shown extremely high negatives for Obama when no other polls were showing the same. And now we have Obama tied with Romney for 2012 after the President has made virtually no big missteps? Hmmm… Not only that, [...]

Music Industry Opens Pandora’s Box on Copyright Debate

I haven’t been a big audiophile for a long time, but I will tell you, I love the services that ad supported streaming radio makes available to the listening public. I was in college during the heyday of Napster, and literally had a playlist that lasted four days long that I kept on a continual [...]

Fox News Military Pundit Calls For Soldier’s Death

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in Military, Partisan Hacks, Video

Good lord… So if you desert you should die? I understand being brought up on charges if you leave and then lie about it, which is possible what’s going on here, but the last time I heard anything about a court martial for deserting, the punishment didn’t include death. There are few things I hate, [...]

Obama’s Approval Slips To 62% In Q2

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in Barack, Obama, Polls

With so many huge initiatives happening, this isn’t necessarily surprising. The Obama White House has had a hard time controlling the message, especially since they allowed the House to drive a lot of the legislation and make Pelosi the point person on them. In other words, with her substitution as the face of the Democratic [...]

Journalism Icon Walter Cronkite Passes

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in R.I.P.

He was the face of CBS Evening News for the better part of two decades and known as the most trusted man in America. Even his famous sign off, “And that’s the way it is,” speaks to the type of objectivity Cronkite seemed to value above all else. This brings up a broader question about [...]

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in Money, South Carolina

Politico did some digging and the results reveal a Governor that is even more at odds with his public persona. Long story short, he definitely used taxpayer funds to go visit his mistress. More at True/Slant.

Conservative Group Sells Endorsement To The Highest Bidder

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in Conservatives, Money, Republicans

Now this is true free market capitalism if I’ve ever seen it. Apparently the American Conservative Union offered FedEx their support if they’d sign off on a costly outreach campaign. FedEx said no and the organization backed UPS. More at True/Slant.
